Just thought I would introduce myself. I am registered on many different forums for cars I have owned over the years (normally ending up in way too many hours & way too much money being spent) so know what a wealth of information these site can be (plus I know its always best to introduce ones self prior to posting WTB's etc).
I have had many weird & wonderful cars over the years, including ex race cars, group n rally cars (that I have imported from Japan) & just normal road cars. Examples of the more extreme are TVR Tuscan, large turbo conversion Galant VR4, full stripped & caged Evo RS, Escort Cosworth etc etc so at least i'm used to high maintenance & low MPG :-).
Anyway, my current car is a tastefully modded, lifted Startech (Brabus) Jeep WK Hemi (which I bought for the dog (an actual dog, not girlfriend lol)) and I miss having a weekend toy :-(
After almost impulse buying but just missing out on a Greenwood C4 earlier this year, I have an urge to source another. I figured I would conserve some cash & start a search for a C5.
To be completely honest, I probably won't be buying anything until around March / April next year but will be combining the purchase with another trip to the states so at least i'm flexible on location.
Initial research & thoughts are for either a 2001+ Z06 or modified conv, decent condition, m6, with HUD, under 80k, ideally salvage title (keep costs down so can spend more on mods plus doesn't UK anyway) in white, black, yellow or blue. Not too fussed as will get custom interior & vinyl wrapped anyway. Strong drive is most importanto to me
