Hello all
Lurking for a few days reading a few forums and discussions. I'm an active turbododge.com and turbo-mopar.com member as I own an 86 GLHS, T2 Rampage and Shelby Lancer.
Wife and I have been looking for a few weeks and came across last week a C3 we had to have for the right price. Up until then I had never sat, driven or rode passenger in any vette, weird I know.
But this early original 79 red/red 350/350 (3 compartment behind seat) is awesome. I have missed out for a long time. There are a few "to do's" to it but I'm in the right place.
a. Horn not working
b. Wipers not working but washer pump works. Intermittentwiper delay located under center console. I removed carpet from console side and I can feel the module click whenoperating wiper switch. I took cover offwiper motor and bent the contact tab over more and I can hear the wiper motorwanting to start but won’t. wiper motor?
c. Vacuum hose is off the heater control valve
d. Tach not working but have new drive board
e. Its missing the spare tire. Was this a temp spare or full size?
Looking forward to posting and asking questions, but I know I like to dig for the right answer 1st.
Its had a many new parts by the former owner and for that I'm grateful. He took great care of it
New battery, New tires, New centercaps, New brakes, New rotors, New calipers, New softbrakes lines, New hard S.S brake lines throughout, New mastercylinder, New t-topseals, New energysuspension bushings front and rear, New Bilstien shocks front and rear, New Edelbrockcarburetor, New Edelbrockvalve covers,New alternator, New plugwires, New distributer, Kill switch in center compartment behind driver, Long tube headers, new exhaust and mufflers to headers
Thanks, Steve in VA.

Good advice above on where to post your questions for answers. Good luck getting the car all fixed up and welcome to the forum.
