My life Dream....
Can it be true?
I will finally be getting my corvette, in November a c3 1977, white and buck skin.
I know '77 isn't exactly the aficionados vette of choice, but it is still a corvette and I have pined for one my entire life. I have restomod plans for it. Side pipes in black powder coart, a turbo wing in black, front air dam in black, black accent stripe on the hood, possibly change the wheels to black. I have also toyed with the idea of changing the front and rear to give it the '69 look. Engine work and interior on it are already done. Although I would like to dye the interior with some black accents. This will be a driver, not a garage decoration.

Hey Scoolman! I can relate ... got my life's dream back in December 2015 and I'm still excited about it. Like yours, mine's a daily driver. I always get looks and nods.
And it's not uncommon for them to photo the license plate when I'm stopped at a red light.
I've learned that it will always be a project car. Kinda like homeownership -- you always find something that needs to be done, or something you want to customize. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Dream Update
Update:
The '77 didn't happen. Maybe it was for the best.
I have since found, and purchased, a '69 restomod convertible with hardtop.
trying to work out shipping now. Advice welcomed.

Very nice looking '69! Congratulations
I'm not aware of any forum vendors that transport autos, but certainly some of our members have had cars shipped to them.
Best wishes getting your ride home.

My '69.
I have always loved corvettes. But i had no idea that i would just go completely gaga when i got it in the garage. Every day... Every Day... i walk out there and it takes my breath away. I absolutely love this car.
