New member, just bought my first c3!
Bought my first c3, a 1978 coupe, picked it up in Wichita Kansas, it was a 7 hour one way drive and well worth it. Body is in great shape and after some work, the interior looks great. It has a decent amount of problems, Speedo and tach don't work, headlights turn on but dont come up, gauges are jumpy and need some work, under the hood is a bit of a mess, but all very fixable. I picked it up for 1,750 bucks. WHAT A STEAL! owner thought the engine was knocking and after I saw it and heard it run I knew exactly what it was, loose torque converter or cracked flywheel. I'll be fixing the knocking noise on the 25th of this month. The bird cage is in awesome shape and the frame is good. Has some rusted through spots but again, it's fixable. If anyone could help with the headlight issue I would really appreciate it.
**also, the car is numbers matching, motor and trans. With this, are there any other parts of the car that add to the "numbers matching" situation?

Welcome and I agree - post up your questions on the car in the C3 sections, most likely in the C3 Tech area.
