New C3 owner in San Diego
Hi all,
just got my first Corvette this weekend; a 1982 C3 Silver Green with matching silver green interior. Owning a Corvette was always a dream and I waited for this one to come along. The color combo is what I was looking for as it also seemed very few in color were made. It is a one owner car with 59k miles, in just super condition. Tires are still at least 17 years old as they have no date code on them!! Spare looks to be original as well. So I need to get new tires. Car has original paint and interior. Car drives nice but it does need a tune up as it seemed to not have been driven much. However, I drove it from the dealer in Palm Springs to the house , about 110 miles, through the mountains and was all good. Took a bit of a chance there with those tires. Looking forward to sharing in this forum.

while car was quite clean I spent about 12 hours cleaning over the weekend going through all nooks and cranies, interior,engine etc plus clay and wax all exterior.
