A French in USA
Hello,
I am a French guy who lives in USA for 3 years. I had a little pleasure. I was not reasonable, I cracked and enjoyed myself by buying a 2017 grand sport, with 600 mileage.
This a torch red, A8, LT2.
It is just an amazing car. So nice and powerful...

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your C7!
You chose a great way to "not be reasonable and to crack."

Even if I think the GS is just superb, when I saw all the splendid Z06 on the forum I think I may had to take more radical and let me try by 650 horse power

The GS is an amazing car but when I see the prices for a new Z06, about 70000USD, I tell myself that I should have passed the upper course and take a Z06.
Si I am thinking about to trade my 2017 GS or sell it for a torch red Z06 A8.
Hard to take the better decision.

Does anyone know where I can find date of production of my GS. I know the year but nor day and month?
I do not find anything on my sticker and my invoice. Is it part of VIN number?

Hello Flo:
The sticker on the driver's door should indicate the month it was built.
Any GM dealer should be able to get more specific information for you. You will need to give them your car’s VIN number and ask for a full GMVIS report. The GMVIS will have all RPO codes, build date and all service work done by GM (the report should be provided at no cost to you).
If the local dealer won't pull the report for you, try contacting one of the forum dealers and ask if they will run the report for you.
From forum vender MacMulkin Chevrolet: “The actual build date is considered to be the date the car was invoiced to the dealer….Keep in mind it can take a week or two for your car to move down the production line, so if it's the end of the month, you sticker could say 04/2017, but the actual date it rolled off the line and was invoiced to the dealer might be in the first week of May.”
You can also order a Build Sheet from the National Corvette Museum that will show the date it started down the production line.
Sorry to not have the exact information you were seeking, but hopefully these leads will help.
Bonne chance with your search.
