Back into the Corvette scene with a C6
I've been mostly lurking here since 2007. Before I got married in 1994, I owned a 67 small block coupe and a 68 BB convertible.
Two kids later with both of my offspring in college, I got green lighted by my wife for another Corvette.
We bought a 2007 3lt auto pretty much fully loaded last Saturday in Redding Ca.
Less than 11k on the clock with a set of new Michelin A3+ tires. Wasn't sure about the stripe but in person it's pretty subtle and I think the original owner was matching the Titanium interior. Also up in the air on the caliper covers. They might get removed here shortly.

Good dad and husband..awesome you just got such a fine looking 11000 mile corvette.
That's really a sweet ride...I'd dump the caliber covers as well...
Fwiw I now have on my purchased new c6 corvette 114k trouble free miles...
Makes a great daily driver for me. Living in the moment..

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your C6!
Like some of the others - think the stripe is good and the caliper covers need to go.

Thanks for the welcome. The covers will be gone next week. I won a Car Detail a few months ago for $250 at a British car event. So I'll get the full detail and get the owner of Kings Cross Automotive in Vancouver, WA to remove the covers as well.
Included with the purchase was a nice car cover and a LeBra. I may put it on before the car goes to sleep for the winter but I think I will do a clear bra of some sort in the near future.
The gentleman and his wife that owned the car previously had the Nav system set up to avoid freeways. I plugged in my home address and the screen said 344 miles, 11 hours and 26 minutes. Every exit on I-5 the nav system had me exiting the freeway. My wife figured it out and unchecked the box in the user set-up. 344 miles and 4:50 looked a bit more realistic
