Hello from Wichita KS
I've been lurking on here for a couple of years and finally joined. I don't own a vette yet but have wanted one since I was a kid, I've finally saved up enough that I am now looking to buy just need to find what I want. Looking forward to continue to learn a lot from everyone on here.

As dahogan says, "take your time." But beware, buying Vettes can be an ongoing issue once you start.
I was 68 when I bought my last Vette. Saw recently where one of our members bought another Vette when he was 82! He's my idol.

Thanks guys, I'm 53 so it's definitely not a rush just wish I could find something here local. Not sure if I want to buy one from out of state since I have never done that before.

Buying a car from a long distance seller can be nerve racking, but it can also work out well. I bought mine back in 2009 - car was located in NJ and I live in MO. I flew into Atlantic City, made the deal, and drove home.
If you find something quite a distance from you, try reaching out to forum members that may live in that area and see if they will look the car over for you.
