Hi, my dad in PA has a 58 thats been in the family since new. His cousin owned in and drove it every day for over 20 years. It caught fire and sat outside for several years before my dad got it in the mid 80's. Its been sitting in his garage until last year when he retired. I am his internet guy he doesn't have a computer or anything. I joined this forum couple days ago. I have already bought something he needed (hasn't came yet) and already sold something hopefully helped them out with their project. We have been at it hard for 6 months now and have made some mistakes along the way thats for sure. It seems like this place is full of more honest and knowledgeable people than craigslist and ebayers.

Welcome to the forum, Jason!
Although some members occasionally buy or sell on craigslist or ebay, I think you'll find the members here are usually focused on their cars overall and not just making a sale. They are also great to help others.
It looks like you might have been on the for sale section, but not sure if you saw the rest of the great info at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-1953-1967-21/
Best wishes to you and your dad with the work restoring the '58!

Thanks! I have gotten in some contact with some very helpful people already! Bought something sold an extra something, all smooth and luckily just dealing with good people here so far. I also may have gotten some very helpful information for our restore we have to get a part and put it to the test to see if it works out. If it does, huge help.
