new at least to me 82 covette!
Hi I'm Bryan
I am the very proud owner of a 1982 corvette. I've had it a few weeks, I've wanted one all of my life. I've driven it once. I have it at a detail shop getting some minor issues cleaned up and getting it wrapped in clear film to keep the paint as good as possible while I work on the rest of the car.
That year was not a good year for horsepower, so I'm looking for anything I can do. I'm thinking about an LS swap in the future. I'm not sure if that will be sooner or later. We have Friday Night Drags for six weeks at Texas Motor Speedway starting about mid June every year. I'd at least like for it to run well enough to show up.

Welcome to the forum. You may want to check the C3 sections - I’d bet you’ll find some valuable information there to help you update the HP and overall performance of your ‘82 - including an engine swap if that’s the way you want to go.
