Hi from NZ
Hi everyone, it's the end of summer here and in a few months I'll be be in Texas. I'm planning to buy a C5 manual which I'm going to ship home, after a decent road trip of course. So I'm not a current owner but hope to be one if I can find the right car.
I'm a genuine Chevy guy, have a right hand drive 54 pickup, gets plenty of use. I also worked in a GM car factory as an engineering apprentice many years ago.
I really love the C1 corvettes but way out of my price range. I think the C5 is right for me, price point, styling, performance, economy, especially when we pay more than double the price for gas compared to US.
Anyway, I'm here to learn as much as I can about C5s before I purchase one, so I get the right one!
cheers
Clay

Welcome to the forum. Be sure to look over the stickies at the top of the pages in the C5 General and C5 Tech sections - they will give you some very good information on the C5.

Thanks guys, I spent a few hours reading through the c5 tech and general sections. I found it really helpful. Looks like I got a lot more reading to get through before I chase that car down.
