Good afternoon,
I am a new member from Lucedale, Mississippi. I have owned a 78 C3 corvette for a few years but purchased a 98 C5 last February. I admit to having spent hours and hours pouring over the details offered by members of this forum. I finally took the time to join and introduce myself.
I am an older guy with an aviation background. I sold my airplane a few years ago after my partner (Dad) passed away and bought the C3. While I have enjoyed the C3, I found it as difficult to work on as a small airplane. No offense intended to other C3 owners but the C5 seems to be a lot more fun and challenging in a different way. While the C3 was a vacuum nightmare, the C5 is an electronic challenge. I am so glad to be a part of a group of owners that share their experiences and help newbie owners like me figure out how to keep our cars healthy. I don't have much to offer just yet, but as I get to know this car and dive into larger and larger projects, I hope that I can share my experiences with you all. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way.

Welcome aboard CrashMike! If I read correctly you still own the C3 and recently acquired the C5? That’s great. I’d love to see photos of both. I’ve been searching for a C3 of my own for a couple of months now. Good luck with your new project.
