Hello Guys and Galls and thnx for allowing me to join. My name is Jerry, live in Va. Beach, Va. and at 74 years of age I finally pulled the trigger on an old Corvette. It's a '98 coupe with the 6 speed with 40,009 miles. Purchased it from a friend who owned it for twelve years and put less than 9K on it. Have no clue as to what I've let myself in for but today I'm a happy camper. Tires are 10 years old and will be replaced as soon as the new ones arrive. To date, I have found nothing inoperable with the exception of the tire monitoring system. New stuff on the way.

Much Thanks Vetteman!! Hoping this goes well. Actually, I very nearly purchased a new '67 after my first re-enlistment but couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. Probably just as well. At any rate, I saw this opportunity as possibly my last so here goes.
