Hello Gooooood Morning (New member from Parkland, FL and Ibague Colombia)
Good morning everyone,
Just wanted to say hello, I am soon to be back into the Corvette club, back in the day in the 80's my father was a Corvette guy and always had Corvettes we had a 69 and 74. I drove the 69 in High School and boy did that car make my life great. Over the years my father went through a pretty nasty divorce and lost pretty much everything including the Corvettes.
The cool thing is the 74 he owned just went up for sale and I was able to buy it. I get back to the States tomorrow and the truck is bringing it down from Indiana on Tuesday. It is running, seems in great shape but I have a lot to learn about its care.
I don't have much information on the car except it is a coupe and a 350. It is an automatic, and all original so nothing has been done to it except some upholstery work etc.... It has obvious sentimental value, but I am looking forward to spending some weekends on it and getting it back to the way I remember it.
Anyways, pretty pumped to get it this week, and look forward to driving it to the gym and the golf courses here in Florida.
Look forward to meeting other owners, and getting my new education. Last time I drove this car I was 16-17 years old so pretty pumped to get it down here.
The 74
