First Vette: 1999 FRC Manual
Hello Vetters,
It’s been about a month of the purchase of my first Corvette!!! A 1999 C5 FRC Manual with 87,000 miles. The excitement is real and it hasn’t faded one bit. I’m not a stranger to sports cars, older cars, or helpful forums, but the Corvette ownership experience is new and I’m loving it!! Previous vehicles have been 1986 Mazda 323,1994 Acura Legend, 2000 BMW M5, 2012 Shelby Mustang GT500, 2012 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner (still own), and now the Vette!!! I’m in South Florida so I’m very thankful for a pretty freaking cold AC in the Vette. Only apparent aftermarket mod is a Magnaflow exhaust which I actually like very much, skip shift delete, steering wheel lock delete, and aftermarket Pioneer double din unit. My current hobbies include working on my Corvette laundry list and daydreaming of bolt-on upgrades for next year.
