2019 c7 z06 3lz
I have been browsing this forum the past few days and I find it interesting and informative. I'm and old guy whose wife twenty years ago made me buy a Mustang Cobra over a Corvette due to having two young children at the time and the fact that the Cobra had a back seat (ha ha).
Well the kids are all grown up now and out of the house, I'm nearing retirement (eligible now) and I feel that if I don't make the plunge now I never will. I'm looking at a new Z06 (manual) and I've confirmed all aspects of the purchase, being cost, payments and insurance. Right now my stomachs having butterflies as in Canada this car is north of $110,000 and with short summers, the best case is 5-6 months of driving. Pretty expensive weekend car.
I hope that the next time I post, it will be announcing that my Z06 has been ordered!

I tried to post a new thread but it seems it is delayed awaiting "vetting" by the mods so,
I want to order that new C7 and the dealer causally stated some dealers are selling them over retail. I've been a long standing customer (GM loyalty) the past 25 years having ordered five brand new high end cars, of which the last three being fully loaded Cadillacs, those purchased in the last 10 years.
The C7 I want retails for $114,000 (Canadian-I live in Northern Ontario), what kind of discount can I expect if any?
Thanks Cobra

Anxious and butterflies but I can now say that I have ordered a 2019 Long Beach Red 3LZ, Z06 with the following options;
1. Competition Seats
2. Performance Cold Air Intake
3. Chrome Z06 Wheels
4. Transparent Roof Panel
5. 7 Speed Manual Transmission (Standard)
6. Carbon-fibre and sueded micro-fibre steering wheel with carbon-fibre dash complement (Standard)
I have put down a significant down payment simply to secure the final selling price and interest rate on the eventual amount to be financed however the dealer advised me I will not receive the car until after the weather warms up in March or April of next year. They have assured me I will get this car and they told me they will tell me when the car is actually going to be built so that should I wish to go to Bowling Green, they would arrange for me to see my car actually being built. Wow that would be so cool and I'm only 800 miles away so that is an attractive option. The dealer also said once they submit the order to GM they will provide me updates regarding build date and VIN once that information becomes available.
The only problem now is my January 01st (2019) retirement is now pushed back, probably a year ha ha..........
