New C5Z owner from Ohio
Hello all. I’m Josh, from Troy Ohio.
I’ve been dreaming of owning a c5 since I was a kid, going to the dealer with my grandfather.
A couple months ago, I flew to Vegas and bought an Electron blue C5 Zo6.
After the 1900 mile trip home over 2.5 day drive home alone, I started to realize what I loved about the car, and what needed work.
Along with general maintenance and fixing a few annoying issues, it’s received long tubes, and awaits a clutch install and torque tube rebuild, along with GMPP valve springs and CHE trunion kit.
I look forward learning more from this forum, and hopefully I’ll be able to track down some used interior pieces that I’ve been looking for.

Jeff.T it sure was a heck of a road trip. That In itself was a story. Driving across country, through places I’ve never been along with curvy mountain roads was amazing. The second half on minimal sleep and driving it alone, not so much. Haha
