New to The Fold
Found myself buying a Corvette just recently after I told myself I was gonna call it quits once I finished with the restoration of two of my cars. One is a '55 Nomad and the other is a '49 Olds 98 convertible with a 5.3L with a 4L60E transmission.
The 'Vette I just bought is a '62 convertible with original 327ci 340hp with a 4sp and 4;11 rear end. The car is a survivor with the original Sateen Silver paint. I also have the original hubcaps with the soft and hard top. I also have MIB padded dash, soft top, carpet and seat belts. The hubcaps are boxed as it is rolling on an old set of American Racing Mags.
The 327 has been pulled and it is in a shop where I'm waiting to hear the results after it gets mag'd. I am thinking of doing a little detuning compression wise, but using a roller cam with hydraulic lifters and an Edelbrock 750 CFM carb. Possible Sanderson header shorties with Dynomax Super Turbo 14" mufflers.
I know as I continue with the restoration I will have many questions. I hope to learn the ropes as I go and restore it as original as I can while making it a road worthy drive.

Welcome to the forum, Bob!
Hard for me to picture a C1/C2 in anything other than American Racing Mags (maybe Crager SS).
With your resto background I'm sure you will do great and look forward to watching your progress.
Best wishes with your project!
Larry

Welcome to the forum! I completely rebuilt my 59 back in the early 80s. The C1 are special cars IMHO. Best of luck with your project.
