Literally woke up and was a vette owner
Hey y'all!
I'm out here in California (you know...where the gas prices are still $4+/gal).
I was in a bad accident where I tumbled down a mountain up in Tahoe. Broke a few bones and hit my head so hard, it knocked me out cold. Well, once I got home after all the doctors put me back together, my friend handed me the keys to "my car". Last I remembered, I owned a basic Ford (cut me some slack.) I went outside to check out my car and realized my crazy butt had bought myself a vette to match my fiery personality. What on earth. I didn't even know how to drive a manual. Heck, same concept as riding a motorcycle, right? So here I am... With almost a year's worth of memories gone and a corvette. I bought the car in October and am now driving it again. Took it to get inspected and it was bad. So, I've decided, gotta start somewhere and now I wanna learn and familiarize myself with car maintenance... On the vette. It's a C5. 03 corvette Z06.
Any help and tips are highly appreciated!

I wanted to go up to Tahoe with the dogs. We packed and took his truck. Enjoyed the morning up there and then, I wanted to try sledding. We went to a slope where all the locals go. I went ahead and went down the slope. First run was great. (I grew up in a desert, so I don't know much about snow... Or ice in this case). I asked him to take his turn and go down. He wouldn't humour me, so I took his turn and went down again, but my sled turned and had me facing backwards...... I slid down waaay too fast and didn't even see that I was about to hit a fallen tree head first. I hit the tree so hard, I flew across the air like a rag doll and tumbled about. Let me tell you, I may have "woken up" in the hospital, but I don't remember it. I remember watching my whole life flash before my eyes! That was pretty cool. Then, I remember waking up on the couch curled up against the dogs in the worst pain.
