Gday Everyone, Bills my name and I guess you could call me a long time lurker. I've been after a C3 'vette for a long long time. Back when i was a kid living in a small town we never saw anything quite like a Corvette so i was quite taken when i saw my first picture of one. When i saw my first black C3, well, it was love at first sight! But the usual, family, career mortgage etc etc got in the way so never had a chance to buy one, but I did finally saved up enough cash to grab one recently. Had to be a 74 - 77 version though. I know they're not really a collectable etc, but thats the shape i dig. So i found a 77 model L48 thats had a few mods done to it. Its been on display at the PO's workshop for a long time and it's got a few issues like vacuum leaks and electrical etc. I'm not bad on mechanical's so will try and do everything myself, right now it's keeping me pretty busy on the weekends! I've been using the C3 forum here to help and i'm amazed at how much info is there to be used!
Anyway, I'll head down to the C3 area and start a thread there too!
