Hey all, I've been floating around the forum for the last year since buying my 2000 C5 coupe, but haven't made an intro post yet.
Basically, I'm just a young guy who wanted a fun car for daily driving that was a manual, got good mpg for road trips, and is a capable track car. Also had to be a manual trans. I thought of some other options but eventually settled on the C5 because I love V8s and think the styling is beautiful! I'm currently in medical school trying to balance saving money and having fun with the vette, but I plan on turning it into a full track car once I graduate (if time allows). I've currently got a C6 Z51 sway bars, C6 Z06 shocks, poly control arm bushings and sway bar bushings, a custom exhaust I welded up myself (free tubing and an excess of time in undergrad won out over a quality exhaust system), and stainless lines paired with EBC yellowstuff pads and ATE typ 200 fluid. Just the basics for canyon running and the occasional track day!
Next on my list of to-do for the car is a new brake MC, new expansion tank, getting the bumper paint fixed and a C5 emblem, square wheel setup, stainless steel DRM brake pistons, DRM radiator and EOC, and a C5 Z06 rear spring.
Great to be here!

Welcome to the Forum, Noah, and congratulations on your C5!
You have made some of the most recommended initial upgrades with your shock, and sway bar selections, along with your poly upgrades.
Best wishes with both med school as well as your racing!

Thanks Route99, I did quite a bit of snooping around the forums before each modification and tried to find the best bang-for-buck options. I appreciate it!
