Hi..my name is Ron and I was born in northern Rhode Island. I now live in western North Carolina. I'm looking to buy my first Vette. It's been a long time dream. I still can't decide if I should buy a C1 or C2. I plan to drive to shows and trying to decide which is more comfortable for long distance driving.

Ron - welcome to the forum and good luck deciding on which generation Corvette is the best for you. I suggest spending some to e in the C1/C2 section where you can check out info that may be available and ask questions of the many helpful members that are there.
Welcome to the Forum, Ron, from Hickory, NC!
Don't know what distance you may want to drive to shows, and where they might be, but the C2s introduced A/C, PS, leather upholstery, and some other nice options that might make your drives a little more pleasureable.
Hi
We're neighbors. I live in Nebo, just south of Morganton.
I love the C1 and C2. I really love the 1961 or 1962. I am planning tp go to shows as far as 600 to 1000 miles and also I will be going to the shows in our area. Ant suggestions would be appreciated.
What do you drive?
