Hi all,
I'm new here now that I'm getting into my 1987 manual Corvette coupe which I inherited from my dad. He passed away a little over 10 years ago. I grew up working in his auto shops. When he passed he had a bunch of little project cars. I had always loved Corvettes so I took an offer from a friend of his who painted it for me. (it was keyed pretty bad on a few different panels.) I did some suspension repair and drove it for a couple years until it didn't pass smog. My wife and I were in the middle of raising our kids so the Corvette had to go under a cover and wait for some love (priorities).
2 of my 3 kids are now driving and interested in working on the car so we pulled it out and are diving into some discovery and repairs. There appear to be a lot of little things to do and I look forward to getting some insight and help from you all here on the forum.
Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your C4!
Excellent link that Gixxerman provided. You will find lots of great members and helpful info there that may be beneficial as you work on your car. Great that you and your kids are working on your car together.
