Hi all very excited to be here !!! i am a new 1st time Corvette owner as of March 2020 , i have been a mechanic since i was old enough to hold the light for my dad while he would tech me not only the joy of and satisfaction of taking care of your own car but how not holding that light just on that rite spot a whole new vocabulary , and the line in the Movie Christmas Story couldn't have been more Spot On when Ralph's Mom asked where he heard that word , LOL "My Dad Worked In Profanity " !!!!! , i got my Corvette as a project , i didn't want something i really couldn't put my stamp on , so i got a poor old girl that had been left to sit in a driveway and left for dead , she is running again and driving , im in no rush to get her back to showroom ( if i had the funds i might lol ) , she is so much fun to drive around and there is nothing greater that the satisfaction of knowing you took something that was basically left for dead , and with your own hand brought her back to life !!! the work goes on , and i also took my fathers 1971 Corvette that he started a resto on 30 yrs ago , got it painted and it sat in his garage all apart so on fathers day 2019 i made up a card and stated i was taking his corvette and putting it back together for him !!! i sent a flat bed the next day and had it brought to my house , and in 2021 he finally got to take her back home with my Mom. my Mom cant keep him out of it lol when the weather permits !!! ill attach some picts
