Greetings fellow Corvette enthusiasts: I purchased a 1995 black/red Corvette convertible with a mere 24k miles a couple of weeks ago. I live in central Illinois about half the year and south-central Colorado (at an altitude increasingly devoid of sufficient oxygen for my needs) the rest of the year. My Corvette was and will remain a true “geezer-mobile” now that I can reasonably afford to drive, properly maintain, and insure it.
As a young boy, I saw my first Corvette pass through town in the very early 60’s and promised myself I would own one before I died. Perhaps like others on this forum, I can finally check that item off my bucket list. I sincerely look forward to learning from you and enjoy your posts. Best wishes to all!
Congrats with the purchase and welcome to the forum!

Curious to see how long this hobby gonna last. The community of people is just great here, so never hesitate to ask your questions.
