Greetings!

I hope someone out there can answer a question for me.

Although it's no longer in existence, can anyone tell me the
year when Roger Penske Chevrolet in Southfield, Michigan
first opened?

It's a critical piece of the puzzle for me because I'm trying to
correctly identify the history of my car and where it originally came
from, based on the tank sticker.

Due to the tank sticker's frail condition,
I had it digitally scanned to decipher the options.
In doing so, something odd was found. There were two entries
for the zone and dealer codes.

The first set of numbers were printed and the second
had what appears to be a faint line hand drawn across the
printed set of numbers and the second set, hand written in.

Has anyone heard of this?

Roger Penske sold his Michigan dealership to Joe Panian around 1983.

Panian Chevrolet is still in Southfield, MI. Phone number is 866-455-7683. I've heard it's on the list to lose it's Chevrolet franchise.
