always on E
I bought a 2001 zo6 with 19,980 runs beautifuly but it has check gague and always on E even when full took it to the shop they said it just need 2 be reset but 20miles later same thing, need help whats wrong

If you're lucky it's just a 'dirty' level detector. Some gasses have a bit extra sulphur, if they're allowed to sit in the tank for a long time the sulphur builds up on the sending unit and your gauge reads empty since it doesn't 'see' the gas. Get yourself a few bottles of Techron at most any auto parts store (next to the STP type products) and see if the problem goes away in a tank or two. You'll need to add two of the small bottles or one of the big bottles to each tank of gas, and I think it helps if you run the tank down below 1/8 if you can see where it is. If you can't see the level at all just reset Trip A when you have a full tank, then at 300 miles pour in the techron and fill it up.
