Default Question for Bob

Hi Bob - somtime back I recall that you had a post that showed the result of a dyno test using the Z06 air box versus stock on a C5. Did a search and couldn't find it. Is there anyway you can repost?

Thanks for the consideration
Ed

I had to do some major searching to find the information as the last time I posted it was about 1 1/2 years ago.

The information we received was from (allanlaw) here on the forum. He had his C5 run on a dyno before and after just changing the top air filter cover from stock to the Z06 style and using the stock air filter. The change he reported was an HP increase from 294 to 308 and a torque increase from 307 to 323 .

We have sold hundreds of these and they are by far the best and easiest mod for the HP gain you can do on a C5. For $ 52.00 you are getting the same gaines as those who are spending 300-600 on fancy intake systems.

Bob wasn't there two different Z06 air box lids (different size air openings)? Which year is the "correct" one to use? Thank you.

Bob is on vacation! AGAIN!

There is only one Z06 air cleaner upper housing. It snaps in place of the stock coupe and convertible upper housing. The lower housing is the same on all C5s.

Give us a call toll free at 800-234-5284 to order yours!

So how much is the Z06 air box lid? The post says $52. When I went to the web site it says $57.95.
