Default Corvette Production Weekly Constraints – 6/14/07

Weekly Constraint/Production News - UPDATED

Constraints are distributed based on Available Days’ Supply (ADS), Controlled Method or Percent of Allocation (POA). Dealers can use the weekly constraint wire to see the basic availability of an option. The percentages on the weekly constraint wire are estimated based on the national retail number of the constrained option divided by the amount of retail orders being allocated for the week.

For those of us waiting, and not familiar with the order process, could you please explain? Does this mean no preliminary orders will pass the edit tables (1100) or does it mean GM will not approve any orders (2000)?

Or does it mean something else?

Thanks,

WHT

What this means is simple:
There are NO allocations this week. If your dealer of choice did not place your order request within his allocations last week then you will be waiting. The reason for no placements this week is because the plant will be closed for a short time for the holiday break.

Thanks Ken.

I know this is straightforward for many people, but it can be confusing your first time through the order process (especially for an early order cycle).

Learning Sanskrit संस्कृता वाक् would be easier!

Thanks again,

You will be waiting until your dealer gets an allocation that matches your order
