    Hi Don.
Im from Altoona Pa the mechanical
heart of the mighty PRR. We built everything here. Locos, cars, even the
    conductors shoes and uniforms.
at one point there were 14 thousand
guys working the shops. Now about
600 for Norfolk. We set a workd record for building steamers. 24 units out the door
in 24 hrs. K4s freight locos in 1917.
Do you know of the Horseshoe Curve?
I spent a million miles driving trucks all
over USA in the 70s and 80s. Saw alot
    Detroit Ghosts out there.

Don: As silly as it may seem, I am looking for an Old El Camino, and there is one at Joe's Old Cars in Chittanango NY, just past Syracuse NY. (315) 569-3313
It is a RED 1970 El Camino 350/TH400 A/C, and appears like a Clean El Camino...Joe is asking $19,885
Could you do me a Favour, and have a Look at this El Camino for me, and give me your thoughts on the Body/Paint, Driveline, A/C, & Rust Condition, AND
I will pay you for your Time & Effort... If Not, Do you know of anyone from that area that would do so for me ...?
Let me know your thoughts .... I know it is Not a Corvette.... I have had a few of these, over the Years, and am thinking of another...
    Thank you
    Sam

I've been seeing new GEs going through to Kansas City, there in primer. They are BNSFs ES44C4s. I'm not sure why they werent painted in Erie. Also yesterday after work I was at Dairy Queen eating my dinner and seen my ol 84 drove by with it's new owner. I still miss that Vette, but it's nice to know that someone else is enjoying it too.

When I was on vacation I spotted my 84 on a car lot. It gave me a flood of memories! I still have every reciept I spent on that car. Wish I had it back!
