Joe, assuming that is your real name, welcome to the forum and Corvette community. I have been playing with Corvettes since 1972 or there abouts, I was a Camaro person before that, but worked for Chevrolet dealers during that time. I also just picked up a C3 to replace the car I sold in August of this year, and it's my 14th Corvette. I point out that fact only to say that your thread on saving the 1970 LT1 caught my attention. If you can get the car for nothing, or very little with an NOM engine and trans, I'd do it. That is if you have room to store it yourself, but it would make a wonderful driver (NOM (not original motor) & trans) just like the one that I bought for $10,000. If you like, email me at ... dkazimir@comcast.net .... and we can talk easier, and I can give some suggestions/comments from my experience. Welcome..!!
