    Hey Dave

I just wanted to ask firstly

How do you choose a car to buy?

    Dave,
I am going to hook it up and tune the car accordingly. On water alone you could run more than 12 psi. If you mix with methanol you can also make more power.

    Dave,
Glad to hear all is well.

For the MX-6 you might try this:

You can run far more boost on that fine 91 octane you get out in Cali..I purchased a kit recently and getting ready to hook it up.

    Hi Dave,
Have a quick question about PCV Oil Catch can. Seems like you're the man to come to with this. I have a 2002 C5 with an LS2 throttle body. This throttle body does not come with a PCV return line. I had this extra line open to atmosphere, and needless to say that when I was at the track I blew oil all over my engine compartment. A catch can is no doubt needed.
It seems to me though, that every PCV Oil Catch can routes the PCV hosing that goes into the manifold and not the throttle body. Should I be running two oil catch cans?
    I would appreciate any help.
    Thanks,
    Alec

Hello, Alec and thanks for the kudos.
To be honest with you, I am not very familiar with the LS2 intake. However, I would recommend that you check with Jim Hall of Halltech. You should be able to reach him at:

    Best regards,

    Dave,
Great thread on intakes. I recently installed the 92MM FAST Intake with the 90MM LS2 Throttle Body. I want to add a cold air intake to compliment it. Based on your thread, looks like the Haltech stinger is the way to go.
Since I have the LS2 Throttle Body, should I go ahead and install the C6 vice C5 Stinger system? Just wondering about compatibility with size of the throttle body as well as connections to the MAF Sensor.
    Thanks a lot,
    Alec

    Hello Dave,
Thanks for checking in and it looks like you have a house full of drivers now. I am seeing great deals on used C6 Z but the economy is really scary these days so I am hesitant to make such an expensive purchase at this time. Sunita and the kids are doing great please give my regards to Evelyn. We should plan a lunch/dinner one of these days. Anyway, will check in from time to time and hopefully one of these days I will get my Z. I am thinking about purchasing an Acura TL Type R a 2007 or 2008 for running around, I hate to use my Tundra for this purpose.

    Take care Dave – Pradeep.
