I liked the blue background of the carbon fiber but I have a few friends with similar type looking gauges in their volkswagons and the guages are a bit difficult to read in daylight. In the same argument I heard someone say that the carbon fiber face gauges can be difficult to read under glare from the sunlight. I did not buy new guages, I fixed my stock guages as i ran out of funds. If I make a purchase in the future I think it will be for the carbon fiber gauges and try to change the backlite to a blue led. My brother had the silver face ultra lites with an orang light behind it and they look good. Hope this helps. I never got pics from anyone of either setup but you can google.com and click "images" in the top left of the screen and type anything in, you might find some good pics to help you out.
