Hi Justin , The backup switch for a four speed goes on the drivers side of the Muncie transmission . There should be a bracket bolted to the side cover with two threaded holes to mount the switch. There will be a small steel rod that goes from the switch to a hole in the reverse lever ( the lever all the way in the rear ). When you put it in reverse that lever moves and pushes the small rod activating the switch. Contact Alan , he keeps many pictures of everything and will be glad to post them for you . He is always willing to help.

    Hello! I need your help!

Same HURST shifter issue as you. I pick up the center consul and i see the base of the Hurst with no other mechanics around it. I'm not exactly sure where the BU switch is supposed to go, is it under the center consul or under the car?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Justin
