Hey Buddy! You may remember me from a few years ago- i lived in Denver and was married to a flight attendant and was going through a nasty divorce (I may not have shared that with you at the time) I had the red 68 that you informed me was an original early production silverstone silver car which was red when you contacted me. Anyway- three years later and willfully transferred to NY for almost all of them- I just bought another one!! Only took three years to get my shit back together... Let me know if I'm talking to the right guy and thanks a lot for your help with selling the last one (I got crazy money for it btw... it's in Denmark now) and through what was a total disaster period in my life!! Thanks again. Brian, Cheers!!!

the racer project was going to be an exact replica of the Henri Greder car, and would be as close to original as possible. It was not a street car with a race theme, but an all out vintage racer. The project was sold overseas, and I am putting my energy into an aircraft project coming soon. See Greder Racing .com for info on the cars and color schemes. Vitesse makes a line of 1/43 corvette racers that comprise all of the cars that ran at Le Mans. I have all of them, and used those to direct my decision..

I was wondering if you could email me a pic of your car with the race theme? Also, what type of wheels and tires are you using? I like the look. I'm trying to figure out which direction to go with my car and looking for ideas. Don't worry, I"m not copying your look, just comparing ideas to come up with my own.

L-88 clone/Richmond six speed .62 overdrive on 3:70 rear end. Car will appear factory stock
Purchased my 68 17 years ago at age 19. The car came apart for restoration last year, Also have 69 Racer in progress. 68 in bodywork now. I collect all information on 68 Corvettes, and 67 or 69 L-88 cars. I intend to log a database for the next few years to create a 68 Corvette file. I am especially looking for destroyed cars, that can never come back to complete the record. I want to log and eventually publish the survival percentage of the 1968 Corvette.
