glad I could help with the T1R review, I thought they worked really well. As far as the actual measured width, I'm really not sure. I think the Toyo's may have seemed wider because of the tread pattern and the way the rain grooves extend all the way to the sidewall. the only way to know for sure is by getting out the yard stick.

Yes ... He lives across the street from my old man .... We are either going to do that or ill sink more money into my beast this winter ... I've got my rear flared quarter panels bought already , I just don't want to spend the money getting the car reprinted just yet

I drop in here every now and then. I am doing well, so is the family. Thanks for asking! We did ok during the storm. A lot of people I know though did not. Including my wife's Aunt and her Cousin. They both lost there homes . Very sad indeed. It was very bad up here. One for the books, for sure!

the material is made by Azek and i had to buy (if memory serves) a 1" x 8" x 18 ft. piece. it is a composite decking/siding material with a fax wood grain on one side and smooth on the other. once i had them shaped, i routered the outside edge with a 1/2" round over bit. there are already two (per side) mounting screw locations on the underside of the C5's and i just drilled two more (per side) for peace of mind. i also counterbored the holes to flush the sst screws and large flat washers so they wouldnt get hung up on anything (my car is pretty slammed lol). once i fit it all, i hit them with a few coats of black matte Plastidip and mounted them up. considering the aftermarket is asking upwards of $800+ for a premade/molded set, it was worth about $100 or so and my time to give these a shot. if youd like, i can try to shoot you some pics of the details and the reshaped look. hope this all helps and would love to see the finished product when done. take care, Rich aka Vert'd Z0
