Great idea. I have a new battery sitting in the house that was bought pre-mature to the wiring harness project. I'll see if I can get access to those leads and hit them one by one to see if the motors move. The power window motor and switch harness(es) didn't come with the full set of four I got from LL, it is an add-on option harness (didn't think about it when I ordered, only got lamps, engine, dash and rear). I'll get the power window harness (so that will make experimenting ok on the existing harness).

Question, say the ground (both or either) isn't connected, and I throw power to the leads individually - do I run the risk of burning up the motor if it is still good ??? I'm no electrical genius - btw. If the current doesn't pass back through the ground, where does it end up going (nowhere or burning up the motor) ??

Yeah, I'm hoping not to have to replace the motors (or pull them out to rebuild)...

Long time no talk!! Hey with all your photos, do you happen to have a series for the replacement of an engine wiring harness? Don't know if you saw the post but mine went up in smoke the other day and I have a new one on order. Hope all is well and you're happy to be back at school!!!

Hey Dave. Danged near didn't find this message hiding out in the PM section.
61 here and 20-40mph winds whipping thru.

I'm about ready to go try to rebuild a fuel pump for some therapy. Was just chasing down some older info I remembered being posted on the forum. I think the procedure is covered in my passenger car manual as well.

    Nothing ventured nothing learned.

Got few 1000-lb kilograms on exam 1. Want to by some coke from those kids?

    Hope all is well!

I love the virtual license plates -actually I love the cars more - but the 65 is my favorite since it has A-C and legroom. - Dave
