Hi Brian, were you able to get the 406 to run with the ZZ409 cam without a tune.I have a 406 with a 510 510 lift cam 220 230 dur. 114 lobe sep.24 lb. injectors. The thing runs pig rich.I cant get it to run below 1500 rpm.It will smooth out at 2500 rpm. This is with a stock 88 tune.I am trying to get it to run so I can get some data for a proper tune. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks,Steve

Hey Brian, I got the message. I'll try to get a hold of you this weekend. I'm going down to the grove for the last time this year.

    Thanks

    Hi,

The $1F calibration does not have a injector flow rate parameters like most of the newer calibrations. To adjust for injector flow you need to adjust the values in the 'Injector Pulse Width Vs. Load Value' table accordingly. Scale the table larger by 16% that should get you close (Global change for injector change). To adjust individual areas of the tune you need to change the MAS tables.

Hi Brian...I am a new guy to the chip burning scene with a near stock 85. I noticed that you know your stuff when it comes to scan and tune, and I would like to pick your brain a little. As you know, the 85 runs a 1F BIN, I have been trying to figure out how to adjust the injector constant. TunerproRt does not have a constant for injectors. I am running 19 pound Ford injectors (stock is 24) and I have upped the fuel pressure trying to get the BLM's in line at WOT (they are at 142) Any ideas? Thanks. Rich

I want to thank you again for the MAPs. I used yours and another and loaded them last night..The motor seemed to be much smoother in the mid-acceleration ranges, pulled very hard. A trip now to the dyno.... and fine tunning....
