Hey, I haven't seen you on the forum lately. I always love the start of the new season and the rivalry between the Ravens and Steelers just makes it even more exciting.

Good luck (when not playing the Steelers ) and hopefully both of us will enjoy another great season.

There were alot of calls that went the Ravens way which is rare. JMHO but the officials in the NFL this year are awful. Too many 15 yd penalties on late hits on the QB while watching some of the other games. Replays showed they were bad calls but not reviewable.

I did not hear or read that. Not good, since the Ravens have not performed well on Sunday Night or Monday night games.

Did you watch Ed Reeds press conference after the game. Called out Mike Preston (Baltimore Sun) and today Preston called him stupid. The lateral was not a smart move but he still played a great game.

It was close until the 2nd half.....I love watching visiting teams self implode while playing the Ravens. I agree the most of the focus after the game was on Mcnabb but the Ravens play better when they are under the radar. You still have to keep in mind this is the only team with a winning record that we have beaten.

Yea it was nice to see the youngster kick it deep. How did you like the 54 yard field goal. I didn't understand why they let Stover try the 50 yarder. I am going to be bold and say we win the division. Big Ben is getting beat up every game and throwing alot of Int. My hope is when we play the Steelers at home we have more fans there then they do.

I agree about next week but lets enjoy the divsion tie with Pittsburgh @6-3. Never thought I would be cheering on Indianapolis. Nice to see Todd Heap in the mix but concerned about Stover. At least we have someone (I don't think the kid shaves) that can put the ball in the endzone on kickoffs and Koch is great on punts. We seem to have a good, balanced team and Joe actually smiled.

    Jack:
Redskins win tonite and the Ravens are first in the division. Did you think that Joe would be able to bring them back from two touchdowns in the 2nd half yesterday?

I agree on all your points. It is just fun watching a Ravens teams that is showing an offense that is college based. Two QB's (once Troy Smith is 100%) should be very interesting. Cleveland won't be an easy team, especially on the road. Remember last year with the field goal? I don't miss Bombastic Billick either. Talk to you after the game on Sunday. Have a nice Halloween.
