Sorry guys, I don't post here much any more because I sold my C6 and bought a GTR... I'll be back sooner or later though; I'm still a Corvette fan at heart

Hey man, are you still on these boards or were you finally banned for life?

Just getting back to my Vette and wanted to say hello and see how you and your car were doing. I hope to hear back from you....

Would you recommend 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" ARH Headers for a 2012 Corvette Grand Sport (A6 tranny, Halltech MF103 CAI)? I also have a DiableSport InTune. My plan is to get the headers installed and buy a custom tune right afterwards. From some of your posts, I can tell you're quite knowledgeable, and would like to hear your recommendation. I'm also leaning towards ECS for the custom tune. There's a "chance" that I might add a power in the future, but it's likely these bolt-ons will be my only upgrades. Thanks.

Sam, we need updates. Get a chance to tune it yet. Good luck.

Aloha my Ninja friend... What do you think about the used TT kit listed for sale. In case you missed it http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-f...em-3495-a.html

I've got to make a choice between that, and Andy's T-Trim.

Let me know when you have time.

    Thanks

    G'day,

    When I read you data "A&A Vortech V2 Si-Trim @ 10PSI, Kooks 1 3/4 Coated Headers, 3" Catted Xpipe, C6Z exhaust, Ported TB and Intake Manifold, 160F t-stat 597WHP / 518wtq" I became very interested ....

Andy too did the A&A Vortech upgrade to my '06 C6 Z51 Auto6 (Paddles) and added American Racing headers, long pipes (final muffler / tail pipes stock) to give car a complete stock look. But I have way, way less RWHP - Andy keeps boost down around 6psi - we track with NASA HPDE program and ANdy doesn't want to risk anything - but could I or should I consider going up to 8 or so as folks tell me it woul dbe quite safe. Thoughts?

    Thanks ... RB

You could say I am not your typical Corvette driver (I.E. I don't know what the best wax is, don't care if it is raining, and enjoy actually racing what I own). I work in the automotive sector doing Research and Development but my personal interests here are in aftermarket performance, particularly for late model Forced Induction Corvettes.
