    Hi Lyle, I just sent you a friend request (don't really know what that means on this board?) but since I have a '73 LS4 convertible, I thought I would like to stay in touch with you. Mine is running well, but I have intermittent vapor lock problems when the engine is hot and has been shut down for over a few minutes (like stopping for lunch). It won't start until I make 3 or 4 long cranking sessions. When cold, it starts on the turn of the key in seconds. I have added the plate under the carb and that helped a little. I can re-start the engine successfully after a few minutes when hot, but after 15 or so the engine just turns. Once it finally starts and runs a few minutes, all is well. I have replaced the radiator with an aluminum one and all cooling hoses, etc are new. I never seem to actually over-heat but when in traffic the water temp gets up to near 200. Do you think the hot exhaust system is causing the fuel in the lines to vaporize? Thanks.

    The purple wire hooks to a capactor with a wire on both ends. One end plugs into the purple wire the other end hooks to a plug on the bottom of the blower motor housing.
    This is a short pigtail not part of the harness with the capacator with a wire on each end with plugs.

    Hi Lyle, Have talked to you at Carlisle over the years and I know your the one to ask a question to about the 73. I recently changed the wiring harness for the motor, blower, etc....my 73 has A/C and the diagrams that I have found do not show how the blower fan is incorporated. I know the orange and black go to the blower but how does the purple wire tie in, it's hot using the meter and the orange is not, doew the purple go directly to the motor, black is the ground, and the resistor is there....maybe you can straighten me out on this.....Thanks, Jay

    Power beam high low $25.-$50. How clear they are and how brite the light is sets the price. Highs are $10. used NOS $20.
