You still on the Forum? Just curious. I just joined and read your post back in 2010 on your 383 build. I too am curious how it turned out.

I'm curious as to how you finished your 383 build on your 85. I'd love to do a 383 build in my Corvette but I'll have to wait until I move out so I have my own space.

If you do a search on C4 parts for sale, you'll find an ad with a full buildup on the engine.

Hi there. Saw you have an 85. I have an 87 and am looking for some chrome C6 wheels. Have you had good luck with yours? You had to use the adapters, correct? Wish I could find some non-ZR1 wheels that bolt directly on. Not sure how I like those adapters.

I want to say thanks. Even being mentioned in a thread like the invitational race is beyond flattering.

The Pro Comp heads I mentioned can be found on www.mandrengines.com. The cost is $649 a pair.

    Biography
I work at a grocery store. A lot. I first saw my vette when i was driving through Neenah back in August. I passed the car probably 10 times on my way back and forth to my grandmothers house. Eventually I pulled over to look at it...and within the next week its sitting in my driveway.
