    Biography
Became a Track Rat last year. Had a 1967 convertible back in the '70's that I rebuilt the engine and suspension on thinking I needed more horsepower. I ended up selling the car to get through college. My wife helped re-ignite my love of sports cars 2 years ago, bought a used 2008 Z-51 and took it to the track last year, for this year I bought the 2012 GS.

    Hi Mike,
Are you presently in WA or AZ? I was wondering if I could ask you some Corvette handling/suspension questions?

    Hi Mike,
Hope all is going well. Quick question for you....Are you still running stock sway bars or have you gone aftermarket? If you went aftermarket, who'd you go with and any surprises regarding install? It seems some of them have clearance issues and others are generally noisy.

Feel like I've pushed the stock bars as far as possible without going 10/10ths all the time. Now that my work travel has slowed, I'm getting ready to put a few track days on the calendar

    Thanks!

    Jim

I think mine ended up sitting about a half inch lower. Nothing dramatic and I was having it realigned afterwards. I was actually glad it did drop a bit, saved me the hassle of lowering the car a tad. After you check all the suspension bits, it may be worth having the alignment checked. Shops, even good ones, have bad days on occasion or equipment may be out of calibration. Unusual but it happens.
