Mark Twardzicki with a 2017 C7 Z51 A8 now. You did a fantastic job on my 04 a few years ago. What bolt-ons are the best bang for the buck? Which don't make the car obnoxious to drive in traffic? What can ARH long tubes and a tune do for my performance? Any way to gain 50-60 HP without boost or H/C package?

Tom, You have tuned my car in the past, here is the basics on the car: 2008, cam, A&A supercharger, exhaust, 17K miles.

The car has been running GREAT until a couple nights ago. I changed the passenger wheel bearing unit with a Timken. I took the car for a test drive, it ran great for about an hour, took the car up to 180, then the power cut out and would not start. Got a jump and it would turn over the motor but it still wouldn't start. Towed it home.

The battery was down to 5.4 volts, I couldn't get it to charge (could be that it's 5 years old and sits most of the winters). I replaced it.

It will now turn over the engine, but won't start. I checked the fuse and the relay for the fuel pump, they are both fine. I checked for codes, there are none.

I do live 5 hours from your shop and will take the car to you if needed, but would like to see if there is any suggestions you would recommend before going to that extreme.

My Bronco has joined the computer age. I picked up a 1987 Mustang engine, rebuilt it and installed it in my Bronco with all the EFI stuff and computer. I converted it to MAF from speed density and it runs beautifully. Initially I thought this would be a really tough job but with a few months of studying and rounding up all the right parts it actually went pretty easy. After wiring it all up it started immediately and runs fantastic. The only codes it's throwing are egr related which I deleted. I also rebuilt some GT40 heads and intalled a GT40 intake setup. Rebuilt some old injectors and installed 1996 Explorer serp belt system. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I'll have to bring up there and show you when I get a chance. It's a Ford but I fabbed up some 1 ton chevy steering linkage and reamed out the knuckles. The thing drive like a champ now. Did all the work in my little shop. It's a frankstien but it looks as good as it runs. My next project will be installing a taurus electric fan.

Hope all is going well wih you and the family.

Thanks for your help, I got the heads (243s) ARH long tubes, and TIs off before they took it away. Already looking for another Comm Ed roadster. Not sure I need that much cam again. What would be the next level down from the 228/230 ?? you installed?

You come highly recommended from the vette folks here north of the border, and I need your advice. I have a 2008 ZO6, and just installed a Vararam Snake charmer air intake this past weekend. The instructions say the PCM will adjust itself to the additional airflow in about 200-300 miles. Should the car be tuned after that? I'm coming to Portland, 12-15 Jul on business, and was thinking of driving the car down from Whidbey Island if you think you could fit me in during that time frame. Can you let me know what you recommend and how much it will run?

Tom, If you send me your email address I will forward the spreadsheet with the injector values: [email protected]

On another note, the AC plug at the condensor was broken. I superglued it and pluged it back in, now everything works great. Thanks for all your help.
