Tandem lives, I guess. My first GTO was a Platinum/black 4 speed '66 right out of high school. 3 years later, got my '65, which I still own....original interior, never been apart, repainted by me in 1985, but a 'survivor' type of car. My favorite year, too, as a purist. I wanted a '64-'66 ragtop back then, but could only find the '67 I now own as a doable car. It has grown on me....changed it from gold/gold to Burgundy/parchment in '93. I have put over 130,000 miles on this one car. Neat old cars that do everything well, and can haul a lot of people and gear, too. I'll never be without at least one!!

I've had tons of 'em...I got a 66 out of high school I still have..ever see the poster of a red car with Hurst Wheels is an autumn setting at swap meets? That's my car. I have a semi survivor 65 [65's are my favorites] that is 100% untouched except I did a color change white to red [wasn't my plan but the body shop screwed me up] Engine never painted, interior un touched...just paint a another set of Hurst wheels [and a grant day two red metalflake steering wheel..but I have the red plastic in a box. ] I have a junk 66 [for 20 years]and a 69 real carousel red convertible. Guy I bought it from dressed it as a Judge which I hated. When I went to pull the judge decals off the paint came with it so I had the sign shop make ne 'Convict' decals instead of Judge...picture on my website

My son has a 2006 but that is another

Too Funny! I have a Blue Charcoal '65 hardtop that is a real 4 speed/tripower/rally gauge car that I've had since 1982, and a burgundy '67 ragtop that's a base car with an auto that I've had since '83. At one time, I had 5 of them, have had 9 total. Never owned a '64, but have owned a few '66's. All I drove were GTO's until the mid-late '90's. Not a big fan of the '68-up's, but as the years go by, like them more and more....the engines are better than the early cars. ALL of them are like Cadillacs compared to my '61 Corvette! What do you have, Sir?
