have you ever done a 'middle man' for any private seller on the forum?

for example, i just got somebody saying he might want to sell his ZR but i have to include Pen Fed who does not allow private sellers that i am aware of. my bank for 11 1/2 years has been golden one credit union but they suck for trying to get a loan with a decent rate. they used to do private sellers but i think actually needed to have the person and their vehicle bring it in to check it out. i don't think they do private sales at all anymore anyway....along with having terrible rates.

sorry. gotta be a Vette. even with my new '15 Hellcat, just like my bought-new '13 GT500, i hate that tipping sensation going around turns. something will turn up eventually

yeh, ABSOLUTELY MUST be a manual. is the incoming AUTO? Rubi is the only vehicle i have at the moment so gotta get the Vette first, unless i had a loaner with a guaranteed "choice" Z coming in but i can't imagine any way i could know for sure what's incoming unless i saw it in person.

O ANYWAY, THANKS FOR GETTING BACK TO ME. I GUESS THE MAIN THING IS GOING TO HINGE ON WHAT YOU CAN GET A HOLD OF AND WHEN. THE NUMBERS, WE CAN WORK OUT. IT'S NOT ALL THAT BAD OF A SQUEEZE AND I'M GOING USED, NOT NEW, SO THAT LEAVES ALL SORTS OF WIGGLE ROOM.

let me go root out my receipts. the Rubi really is quite nice and the wheels look great. you can just google LRG Pike 109 and take a look. i guarantee, you'll like 'em.

    and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

there is an Orange vert c7 z06 in Marin county, but i'm on the fence about a vert. with the 427 it was fun because surprisingly with the wind screen, it's amazing how that keeps out the chill. i used to go for a drive 4-5 nights a week about 1 to 3 am when the temp was 55 - 60 and with the top down cruising up 101 from my area south of Gilroy all the way up to san jose and cruising around town for hours at a time, it didn't get too cold at all, and i'm real sensitive to the cold. BUTTTTTTTT......you can't fit shit in the trunk of a vert as u know. it's amazing how much crap you can put in the back of a coupe! and regarding c7 z06 verus the fixed top of a ZR-1 C6, that's a nice option to get a clear top and remove when chosen.

for the car, i MUST ahve a manual.also have a jack that is 4-ft i believe, still in box, never opened because no need to. I don't know if you've hear the stereo in the Hard Rock but i'm telling you, it's the best sounding car stock stereo i have ever heard. has a sub-woofer...small, but sounds great...also NAV of course. plus, i still ahve a car cover that i had from that white 427 i sold you 2 years ago. i never used it, but it might be a nice "gesture" for somebody who sells Vettes to 'sweeten the pot' for somebody who would actually use a car cover. to me, they're such a pain because the cover itself gets so dirty/dusty, bird shit so fast and is a pain to wash.

so i'd like to have my Pen Fed loan, my $8k cash or thereabout, and my trade-in. along with receipts, i can give you the specifics tomorrow late afternoon on all of the Jeep info. about a vehicle, i don't know if you know anyone you can do some sort of "exchange" with to get ahold of a ZR-1 or a C7Z06 vehicle. not in any jam where i need the car in some dire hurry but within a month for sure i'd hope. if i trade the Jeep at the same time i purchase a vehicle, i ought to get a good price on the car because there is so much to work with on my trade-in. forgot to mention: Rubicon Hard Rock is a hard top and a MANUAL.

BUT THE WAY I'VE BEEN THINKING IN THE PAST 3 DAYS, IT'S MORE LIKE IT WILL BE EITHER C6 ZR-1 OR C7 Z06, AND LEANING A LITTLE MORE TOWARD ZR-1. NEVER DRIVEN EITHER CAR THOUGH! THE PRICES SEEM TO BE QUITE SIMILAR EXCEPT THERE ARE ABOUT 4 ZR-1'S LISTED VERY NEAR $60K WHICH IS WHERE I'D LIKE TO BE. AS I SAY, THAT ONE AT THE VEGAS GALLERY IS $59,800 AT 6100 MILES IF MEMORY SERVES. there is also a purple one (Long Beach Red) at Connell Chev in Costa Mesa for $62 even BUT it has 15,500 miles on it and is a '16 c7 z06.

i had been thinking of possibly a c6 Z06 and keep the Jeep as a third option. but i still ahve pmt on the jeep then, plus pmt on the c6 z06, and my insurance goes up AT LEAST another 50% to $229 month. that's based on splitting the mileage evenly thouogh. jeeps are terrible on insurance. vettes are muc better. and because of the mileage difference, i'd be driving the vette to work almost all the time anyway. my job is in Hollister so only 10 miles to work is how i've been keeping my mileage so low.

well right now i'm thinking either a c7 z06 or a c6 ZR-1. for example, on cars.com and autotrader, there's one with 5k miles Cyber Grey at $59,800 for a 2009. says the owner was Henderson, NV which is basically a 'burb of Vegas so-to-speak. you're prob familiar with Vegas layout so i'm sure you know where Henderson is. it's attached to Vegas to the south and before Boulder City. so 1 owner and in Vegas is IMO better than something with 3 owners history from Ohio and Michigan for example. for an example of a c7 z06 there is one at Stevens creek audi for $64k even with 4700 miles. it's a '15 and a 1LZ but that's decent. shark grey with red base seats, black wheels. there is another from Mission Viejo audi with 1700 miles at $66,588.
