GrandSport/Callaway aero body@ Bandimere who's...
Went to test-n-tune at Bandimere(Colorado) last night and saw a GrandSport with a full Callaway aero body kit and cowl hood....not sure what's powering it(left before i could see it up close) but he had some serious tration issues and still was crackin off some mid 12's!
Anyway, just a sweet lookin Vette...just thought I would ask who it belongs to and if it's a TT car?

I have to agree. Beautiful car. I loved it. It was running mid-twelves with traction problems as it was stated. It was trapping like 112-114 I think. Nice LT4!
I sawthe engine compartment, and it was plumbed for nitrous, that's not to say he was or was not on the bottle. I also think he may have a strkoer motor put in from Callaway

Nope the only thing that is on that car from Callaway is the (previous) owner-installed AeroBody.
It uses someone else's motor and turbo kit, as listed above

Wow...that is a nice Vette, that Callaway body kit is the **** and that 3rd brake light is simply genius.
As for my crapper,(first time back at the track without secondaries & new chip) it went a 12.93@116mph with a suck azz 2.18/60 ft, i short shifted into 2nd gear since my silly drag radials were acting like some bald all seasons in 1st gear!
I was glad to get a number on my smokey/clapped out/oil burnin 10 year old 368 cube conversion has just about had it.....the stroker 415cid should hopefully be complete before March....hopefully!!!

I saw it Sunday in dowtown Denver at the gas station I was filling up at. He wasn't there long enough for me to get a close look at it.

Show me a C5 that is sexier than that car! That has to be the best looking C4 Corvette ever IMO. If it was a ZR-1 with that same kit, it would be even better but as I don't think they make that kit for them. When I wrecked my car waaaay back in 1999, all I wanted was that front bumper and they wouldn't sell it to me They told me that you had to buy the whole kit.

He was asking 55k for it a few months back, but now says best offer...I have been keeping an eye on this one since I missed out on another 1990 Callaway/Zr1 in Nebraska about 8 months ago for CHEAP(38k).
