Default Cruise in Questions

Pardon moi, but I have a few questions about the cruise in.

Never been to one so I don't know how to sell it to the BOSS.
I can't take time off during the week, so I would make it there sometime Saturday and would have to leave on Monday.
What events would be happening in this time frame?
ANy ideas on what I can tell the wife so she'll want to go?

Thanks for the info

Yea I'm replying to my own post.

I think I've worked out a way to sell my going in the middle of the week and taking time off from work without pay. So my question becomes more basic:

What is happening each day of the event? Is there a generic information post I can read with this information?

I don't think the complete schedule will be finalized for awhile, but, the goal was to have a complete day of autocrossing on Thursday and a complete day of drag racing on Friday. I would expect Roscoe's BBQ will be Friday night, and the banquet (NO Mystery Meat This Year  ) Saturday night. I'm hoping Wendell also has his BBQ on Thursday night as has happened at Cruise Ins I & II. Along with this will be various seminars and presentations at the museum, road tours, etc.

And of course, every night, refreshments at the Baymont
