CRUISE IN XII: The first step towards making it better next year!
Hi all! This is the first action toward making Cruise In XII different and to make it a great event like we all know it can be from years past. Bob Bubnis works for the National Corvette Museum on "America's Sports Car magazine" and is putting together an article about the CorvetteForum Cruise In!
Please take a second if you will & follow the link below and tell about a great Corvetteforum Cruise In memory you've had. This is your chance to not only tell of a great memory you've had, but to also get it into a magazine as well and help give input into making Cruise In XII be a great success! So please share your story!!!

It was great to see those that came to CI-11....
I felt very different not running around for the whole weekend... Doing my thing..
And I forgot what it was like driving my Vette to the CI .. since 2000
Im glad that Im doing great... it took a little time to get going again...
I seems that people had many reasons that they didnt make it this year including .. me not being able to do the BBQing...

Hopefully this means that you and your excellent crew of BBQ Masters will once again be displaying your culinary talents as part of the Cruise In.
If so, when do you want your check for "One of Everything" and a "Keg of Beer"?

Ben, I've heard from Roscoe and he says he has a family conflict on this year's event. We'll miss him, of course. You can BYOB and we'll patronize the restaurants this year.

Wow ouch...yeh and I know that the Talladega Vets for Vettes is the same weekend this year too. It's a tough break for the Cruise In this year.

A friend and I (we each have C6's) are looking into coming out to the Cruise In this year for the first time from Maryland. How many cars/people show usually show up? We are looking forward to it, just wanted to get an idea of the size of the event.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

You should know that I always BYOB (normally either 18- or 21-year single malt scotch although I did bring an interesting single malt Irish last year).
Maybe we can watch DataWhiz eat another cow at the Grand Fillet Stake Off. . .
If nothing else, everyone will get a chance to see the outstanding Fikse wheels I won at last year's Cruise In.

Bytor62: It's kind of like herding cats. I never know until I get there. It has varied from something under a hundred to several hundred. I always figure I'll have fun with those who show up and won't worry about those who don't.

Darn, the wife and I were really looking forward to some more of your great cooking. We were actually just talking about it the other day, as we were wondering if we needed to come back from Nashville on Friday to catch the BBQ - I guess we will eat in Nashville instead.

On the plus side, no reason to trailer anything.
On the minus side, no competitive driving things.
Let's go NCM Motorsports Park!

We collected $900 for the NCM Motorsports Park at CI last year. My understanding is that they will begin construction after the project is funded. Hope it's sooner, rather than later, but it's the contributions that will make it happen.

I will be there again this year, though I won't be there for the entire event, couldn't get vacation time for that week, but I will be rolling in for a few days. Gotta keep my streak going, looks like me and ZR Don will be the only two left that have made them all(other than Adam of course).

The NCM Motorsports Park can't be built soon enough for me. Not having drag racing at any of the NCM events especially the Forum Cruise in is a shame...
