Hi Lance
Just signed up for both the GM Nationals and Corvettes at Carlisle, thanks for the discount package. My question I had hoped not to have to ask is, my health has declined to the point I can no longer walk the show, do you rent carts to get around?
thanks and looking forward to seeing you again
Ira

This is from the Carlisle webpage:

"DISABLED GUEST RENTALS

Disabled guests are welcome to enter with their own wheelchairs and three- or four-wheeled electric convenience vehicle (ECV). Disabled individuals may rent an electric convenience vehicle from our authorized vendor located just inside gate three with appropriate credentials. ECV rentals are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Operators of ECVs are required to possess appropriate credentials while on grounds. Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case by case basis for disabled persons unable to operate a three-wheel vehicle who have their own properly insured golf cart and who make arrangements in advance of arrival. I live about 45 minutes south of Carlisle and I would recommend looking into staying around Chambersburg or Shippensburg if you want a decent place that is within a 30 minute drive off I -81.

I've been to Carlisle before with my other cars...not Chevy...so, I know the grounds....just the hotel I used to use is no longer there. LOL!

That poster/banner is affixed to the wall in our photo area. You'll just have to be "satisifed" with the FREE Corvette, if you win...!! Good luck..!!

We send the stickers out approximately 2 weeks prior to the event (sometimes a little sooner). We've learned that people tend to lose them if we send them out earlier

Let me know...I'll book it!

Thanks!
some others have already chimed in, but i'll second the Chambersburg/Shippensburg/or even Greencastle recommendation. all three towns are right on I-81. i live in Chambersburg and i can tell you, traffic to Carlisle in the morning is nothing. the only time you'll see traffic is when you get close to the fairgrounds, which you'll get no matter where you stay.

Just registered for CAC. My bad, I didn't realize that there was a discount when you registered for multiple events. Had already registered for the GM Nationals.

See you at both events Lance!

Please... I never saw you go silent so quickly when we made that little bet. As a matter of fact I recall your face when I made the offer and there were a few witnesses too. Should I reach out to see what they have to say?!

Cheers,

Lance

PS I'm still willing to help your tires lighten that tread a bit... just say the word! LOL
